W4MM is the Albany Georgia
Amateur Radio Club callsign. The Albany Georgia Amateur Radio Club
is a Special Services Club with the ARRL. The Albany Amateur Radio Club
sponsors 3 vhf repeaters and a UHF repeater. This is a very active radio
club, with a weekly VHF Net , a weekly ARES Net, monthly club meetings,
and regular VE Exam sessions.
The Albany Georgia Amateur Radio club is one of the oldest Amateur
Radio Clubs in south Georgia. A fantastic resource for those interested
in getting involve with the Amateur Radio Hobby. The Albany Amateur
Radio club has worked with the Amateur Radio clubs in South Georgia to
help the smaller clubs. The Amateur Radio Clubs in south Georgia are
more like family as they work together to make our hobby even better.
The W4MM repeater on 146.820 is on the Tall Pines Intertie.
Albany Amateur radio club sponsors a 146.73, 146.70, and a UHF
repeater for area amateur radio operators.
